I found Liana’s story to be especially poignant and I loved seeing her grow from sad resignation to a life full of hope. Since this is a “cold case” story, the reader gets to know the characters in depth over the length of the book as they work together to solve a murder that had occurred ten years earlier. It’s different from most “Love Inspired Suspense” books that are action-packed from beginning to end. Shelley Shepard Gray is a talented author and her gift of creating an interesting, heart-touching story shines all throughout this book. But will digging into the past create new problems?
